Manual Handling Training
The Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Applications) Regulations 2007, Chapter 4 of Part 2 sets out the requirements for manual handling in the workplace. Regulation 68 outlines the definition of manual handling and risk assessment in the workplace. Regulation 69 outlines the responsibilities of the employer to risk assess and manage manual handling activities in the workplace.
Where manual handling is unavoidable and the risk of back injury is present in the workplace, Manual Handling Training is a regulatory requirement and must be completed by an approved Manual Handling Instructor. Our training can take place across Foynes, Limerick or anywhere in Ireland.
